Student Management

The CTV branch of Student Media, like The Rocky Mountain Collegian and KCSU-FM, is managed and staffed entirely by students, with one professional Broadcast Operations Manager as adviser (shared with KCSU-FM), a professional Promotions and Public Affairs adviser (shared with KCSU-FM), one faculty adviser, and professional support from the Student Media business office and General Manager. Any degree-seeking, full time student registered with the university, from any department, is eligible to work in the facility. In the past, students from the Journalism and Technical Communications, Speech and Communication, Political Science and Engineering departments have been among those most heavily involved. In an average year, close to 100 students get hands-on experience.
